Good laptop but i turn wireless on but then cant connect to internet whats the problem?

you can to try:
1. Check your connection properties, it should be configured to – Obtain an IP address automatically.
2. Check the router’s security settings or security key and sync with your laptop.
This should work, if not let me know

This Acer 5742 has an HDMI output. But the screen resolution is 1366 x 768.
If I connect the HDMI lead to an external projector capable of SXGA+ (1400 x 1050) eg a Canon SX80 is the computer capable of producing that resolution? – the Acer specification does not tell you. (in contrast to the specs given for Toshiba machines which give a max resolution for external devices as well as internal screens)

Can you clarify?
