New Sony 4K HDR Android TVs will come with Google Assistant

Sony’s presence at CES 2018 was not impressive at all for those waiting to see new Android flagships, but it did have some awesome stuff to present: some new mid-range devices, headphones, speakers, and some sweet TVs. CES is over now, but Sony’s still got some tricks up its sleeve.

The model announced today for the first time, the X850F series, comes in 65” or 75” sizes, and features OLED panels. Underneath the panels is Acoustic Surface tech, which apparently makes “the entire screen resonate with sound.” It seems like this is the TV for people who like to watch their movies loud. Thanks to Google Assistant, all these 4K Android smart TVs can connect to a smart home hub with the help of the Google Home app. After finishing this step, the user can control the TVs many functions by issuing voice commands.
